Daniel Norbert Jankowski, ur. 1969 r.
Twórca multimedialny – malarz, rysownik, fotograf – którego prace były prezentowane w prestiżowych galeriach i instytucjach kulturalnych w Polsce, Ukrainie, Rumunii, Wielkiej Brytanii, na Tajwanie, w Chile i Argentynie. W malarstwie dominuje u niego abstrakcja, a w rysunku charakterystyczna konturowa kreska, która stała się rozpoznawalnym elementem jego stylu artystycznego.
Fotografie Jankowskiego publikowano m.in. w miesięczniku fotograficznym „FOTO", rysunki w The Prairie Review (Stany Zjednoczone). Wykonał liczne fotoreportaże dla jednostek administracji publicznej w Polsce i zagranicą. Jest również autorem fotoreportażu do wystawy "Sarkis Tęcza Anioła" (kurator – Hanna Wróblewska) dla Zachęty Narodowej Galerii Sztuki.
Szczególnym obszarem zainteresowania artysty jest dialog sztuki z przestrzenią publiczną oraz jej terapeutyczna i edukacyjna funkcja. Zrealizował ponad 20 wystaw indywidualnych w bibliotekach różnego szczebla – od uniwersyteckich (Uniwersytet Śląski, Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach, Wojewódzka Biblioteka Publiczna w Krakowie) po gminne i powiatowe placówki w całej Polsce. Ta wieloletnia współpraca z bibliotekami zaowocowała wypracowaniem autorskiej metody prezentacji sztuki w przestrzeniach edukacyjnych, która łączy funkcję wystawienniczą z działalnością warsztatową i prelekcyjną.
W swoich prelekcjach i spotkaniach autorskich Daniel Norbert Jankowski dzieli się doświadczeniem dotyczącym wartości i korzyści płynących z podejmowania działalności twórczej. Na podstawie własnej drogi artystycznej omawia, jak twórczość wpływa na rozwój osobisty, wzmacnia poczucie własnej wartości oraz pomaga radzić sobie ze stresem i emocjami. Daniel Norbert Jankowski, born in 1969 /Poland/. A multimedia artist—painter, illustrator, and photographer—whose work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries and cultural institutions across Poland, Ukraine, Romania, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Chile, and Argentina. His paintings are primarily abstract, while his drawings feature a distinctive contour line that has become a recognizable element of his artistic style.Jankowski’s photographs have been published in the photography magazine FOTO, and his drawings appeared in The Prairie Review (United States). He has created numerous photo reports for public administration agencies in Poland and abroad. He is also the author of the photo report for the exhibition "Sarkis Tęcza Anioła" (curated by Hanna Wróblewska) at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art.A special focus of the artist is the dialogue between art and public space, as well as its therapeutic and educational function. He has held over 20 solo exhibitions in libraries of various levels—from university libraries (University of Silesia, University of Economics in Katowice, Provincial Public Library in Kraków) to municipal and district libraries across Poland. This long-term collaboration with libraries has led to the development of his own method of presenting art in educational spaces, combining exhibition functions with workshops and lectures.In his lectures and author meetings, Daniel Norbert Jankowski shares his experience regarding the value and benefits of engaging in creative activities. Drawing from his own artistic journey, he discusses how creativity supports personal growth, strengthens self-esteem, and helps manage stress and emotions. He presents specific mechanisms explaining how regular involvement in artistic and creative activities positively influences a person’s well-being.The artist also conducts creative workshops, encouraging participants to discover their own artistic potential, regardless of previous art experience. He emphasizes that creativity is not reserved for a select few but is a universal tool for personal development and communication with others.

Daniel Norbert Jankowski es un artista multimedia conocido principalmente por su trabajo en pintura, dibujo y fotografía analógica. The common link of this somewhat nostalgic city landscape, is Jankowski's eye as the insightful observer standing aside, rather than fully participating. He took his visual utterances with analogous, single-lens, reflex camera.
His use of wide perspective, creating subsequent shots in the background, framing birds-eye view, all give the impression of a silent, non-interfering observation.
